Here are a few new tooled holsters. I did the POW-MIA holster as a test to see how small I can get the letters. I have never done raised letters that small before. I am going to paint this one and maybe the others.
Rocky, this is a piece of Art!! ... I can't thank you enough. It was well worth the wait.
It looks just like her. Ya know, I am going to have to order a plain Black Ops Pro for IWB. There is no way I am going to stick this down my pants and take a chance of scratching up the paint work. I'll wear it to the range though, OWB ONLY !!! I think it will wind up sitting on the mantle as a conversation piece. This is gorgeous..
Hey Rocky, holster looks great, can't wait to get it. Thanks, so much for your assistance in it's design and for making it. I've got a Retired Delaware State Troopers Association meeting coming up real soon and I'm going to show this off while I'm there. Thanks again! Dave M.
Let me see if I can explain without getting to wordy.......
My wife and I have always been dog lovers. I have spent the greater part of the past 7 years, deployed between both war zones in the Middle East. As a result, my wife has been left alone most of that time. So, we adopted a couple of Greyhounds, as companions for her. She treats them like children, and believe me, they want for nothing!! The greys have filled a huge void in our lives, especially with me being deployed all of the time. Unfortunately, they are very susceptible to cancer because of all the steroids given to them during their racing careers. We have lost 4 greyhounds due to cancer already.
At present we have 2 female Greyhounds. One of the girls is named Demi (yep, named after Demi Moore). She is 4 years old and does't believe she is a Greyhound. She has a personality like no other dog we have ever owned. If I had to characterize it I would say she is a cross between Lassie and Marmaduke. Smart as a whip but mischievous to boot, and will protect her mommy (the wife) without hesitation if she thinks her mom is threatened.
My wife bought me a Kimber 45 as a retirement gift so I started looking around for a holster. After reading hundreds of reviews and seeing the results of Rocky's artistry I decided to get a Black Ops Pro. I wanted the best holster I could find and wanted to make it stand out and be unique. The wife had just sent me a photo of Demi (I was over in the sand box at the time), so I thought, what better way to immortalize all of her great (greyhound) companions than to have one tooled into a holster. It is Demi's face on the holster but symbolizes all the Greyhounds we have had.
I sent Rocky the photo of Demi and asked if he could tool her into a holster for me. I never expected what you see as the final outcome of that email. Words can not describe what Rocky has accomplished. And actually, it's too pretty to wear, especially IWB. I will wear it at the range though.
That is the short condensed history behind the holster.
Ya know, Rocky is a genius. Now I need to order a plain Black Ops Pro for CCW.........
I feel like I am behind the curve! I only have ONE (1) holster from Rocky. Many firearms, but only one holster. I have a standing order for another, if only I were wealthier to finance Rockys retirement fund! But you know what? That one holster stays on my hip all day everyday, and would never consider anything else.
My wife loves her holster. She took it to the office today to show the guys. She also took your business cards to pass out. Wouldn't be suprised if you hear from a couple of the doctors she works with. They will be impressed with the quality and workmanship of your holsters.

I have been slacking on adding pictures for awhile. I think I have around 300 on my website now..........:gah: My goal is to have one of every model firearm in every color I offer. :22a:
I have a Kimber Ultra CDP II - I guess it's time to get a Pure Kustom to show it some love. I also want to know where you got the grips for that Kimber.
The grips were custom made for me by a friend. I have a matching set for a 3" and 5" 1911. They are 54 pieces each side. Not sure if he wants to make anymore. But I can check.
