Another choice to consider.... Tucker Texas Heritage. Super comfortable.

Been away for a couple of days, but thank you all for the input. Im seriously looking at a few holsters mentioned in this thread that I had not considered before. Especially the KD, since he's ex-navy and here in Florida. We already have those things in common. Im also looking at a Galco and Milt Sparks. Im glad I asked for advice.

oregonshooter, thanks for the offer. Its not really what I had pictured, but it does look nice.

ExSoldier762, Im in Jax. Whatever I settle on has to have a very tight ride, since I wear t-shirts most of the time.

    Thanks again for the advice.

    CleaningAccident,

What a co-inky-****! I'm ex-Navy (amongst other things,) I live in Florida, and less than 5 minutes ago, I placed my order for a K&D Laredo Defender!

I went the the brown, so it would match my belt and shoes. How tastefull! Thought about some tooling, but decided against it. After all, it is for concealment, isn't it?

Did add the 3 initials, though. Had to feed the ego something. . .

Cool Mike. I'll probably pull the trigger on a holster this week. I tend to overthink sometimes. Comes from years of hasty decisions that came back to bite me.
Did you, by chance, order a belt too?

I wonder what KD would charge to inscribe "Dont worry about this holster unless its empty".

No on the belt, that will come later.

Man oh man, I really hate to confess this!

Went to WallyWorld looking for some suitable cover garments. You know, the standard-issue Florida Urban Camo, the Hawaiian print shirt. (Found a nice one, too!)

I knew I needed a different belt, my usual is only an inch wide. While there (I didn't go there looking for a belt, I promise!) I passed by the belt rack and saw a nice basket-weave that was 1 1/2 inch wide, nice and heavy-looking.

Tried it out, it did work much better than my old one. Got to looking at it, then the tag that was on it, and found out it was made in China and its some kind of synthetic something-or-another!

Definately need a belt and as soon as funds can be miss-directed, I'll probably order one up from K&D, as well.

    Mike

You might want to post your holster for sale in the correct area of the forum.
That would be the Members Wanted To Buy & Items For Sale Area.
    Thanks.

    OK, CA!

After that confession, I must redeem myself.

I'm adding a belt to my holster order. Just can't see hanging one of Kevin's holsters from a synthetic belt that came out of a GreatWalofChinaMart.

I'm going to try for a tan basket weave, inch-and-a-half.

    There, I feel better already!

    New to the forum.

I carry my G23 and G19 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special (IWB). I have a whole bag full of not so goods.

I am also looking for a good, comfortable and secure OWB.

    I have a Laredo Defender for the G26 that I like so well that I just ordered another for a S&W M 60 3" .357.

I am sure you will be pleased. Kevin is great for fine craftmanship, and short waiting time.

Actually, JerryM was quoting me. (Not that it really matters.)

I had a very pleasant talke with Kevin of K&D, and changed my order from brown to mahogany. Like I told him, only my seldom-worn "dress shoes" are black. All the rest are some form of brown.

Hey, the holster will never be seen, but the belt will!

Lighter colored shirts, untucked and unbuttoned, worn over a darker T shirt or tank top. A darker holster will be less obvious against the under shirt, but a nice black holster might be spotted thru the lighter "cover" shirt.

    At least, that's my rationalization.

Basicly, I just really like the looks of that mahogany-died leather.

I've tried out a few holsters for my G23. I prefer OWB holsters, and have been happy with the feel and fit of the Galco "Concealable Belt Holster" http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp...D=219&GunID=49

It works well with the belts they sell, hugs the body, and conceals well under a sweatshirt, etc.
