I have two Springfield XDs...the XDsc-40 and XDm-40. They both fit in my Don Hume IWB holster. The holster is made for the Sub- Compact but will fit all XD's. My XDm is about the size of a fullsize 1911, in the Don Hume the barrel hangs out inside pants but conceals good w/ a loose tshirt. Less than $30 for a thick leather holster you cant beat that price.
I have the XD SC .40, great gun but a chunky little monkey. I can't make it out in the photo, is that a single clip on the other side of the holster? If so, the gun doesn't sag a bit? Of course, I haven't bought a gun belt yet, so I probably just answered my own question...
I own, have owned a total of three of Don Hume's holsters. A paddle for my S&W 5906, a IWB open top for my Colt Mustang and I had a belt slide, open top for a Makarov that I no longer own. All three are great leather at a reasonable price.
I have been using a Don Hume J.I.T for my full size 1911 since the summer when I got my OK CWL. I also have a Don Hume dress belt and I can carry comfortably all day.
Don Hume has a very good product at very attractive pricing. My next purchase will be a PCCH IWB holster and another belt.
