It would be more than a little helpful if you would divulge HOW she intends to carry. IWB, OWB. Pocket, purse (I hope not purse)...

The Sparks PMK. Tony actually designed it for is Wife. The only problem is that unless you find somebody that has one in stock - you'll not have it for Christmas. Start checking around.

He can probably get you one of his before xmas.
If it shows in his store, it's usually about a week.
Here's one OWB style that's probably what you're after, called
    Combat:

Makes another one designed to ride farther back on hip called Undercover and/or Sideguard:

That Undercover/Sideguard looks very interesting to me. I currently use a Supertuck IWB or a Galco OWB. Either one is SUPER comfortable. And then just a simple Uncle Mikes for cargo short carry or in the motorcycle jacket.

Even with this light gun, a good belt makes a HUGE difference.

I have a UBG Regulator for sale. Just go to that forum to see a picture. I will meet you half way if you want to look at it. It's a $130.00 holster plus shipping if you order it. This one is brand new it just rides to low for me, but it will probably ride great for a woman. I will let it go for $100.00. You will be jealous of her holster if you do get it for her, the front is full shark. It is my best looking holster. Just do a search here on UBG Holsters, if you want to know if they are good holsters.

This is on the top of my wish list from TT Gunleather, no idea on lead times.

The reason the PMK is so good, a "plug" for Milt Sparks because they work, is due to the fact that it sits lower than the "traditional Belt Holster.

It is designed for those with a short torso, like many women. The traditional Belt Holster tends to ride where a man would carry a Shoulder Holster on a woman.

Kramer also makes a "Woman's Holster" too I believe. As far as getting it by Christmas, I doubt it. You might try Lightning Arms Sports, or getting her a Gift Certificate, but I would be inclined to order her a Holster and give her the "confirmation letter". That would be like a Gift Certificate.

Time is short so I think you are stuck with off the self. I carry mine in a Galco Concealable. Good quality and it doesn't ride too high, a common complaint from women.

This one isn't the prettiest, although it was one of his first. It sits low and balances the little airweight perfectly. Seems like all the others try the 'high ride'... this one rides about mid height, very nicely.

I love the Sparks PMK, but this one definitely pulls the grip in tighter.

I have a Minimal Clip from Side Guard Holsters for my Smith airweight bodyguard and I could not be happier with it. It is for IWB carry but there are also models for OWB. The quality is good and the prices were quite reasonable. If Side Guard has a style you like I don't think you will go wrong.
