    Question H&K P2000sk holster problems

I cannot seem to get comfortable at all with it, and my Crossbreed SuperTuck IWB. I live in Florida so wear mainly shorts and a t-shirt. Any tips?

Also, would an inside pocket holster be easier?

Well, I would say get / borrow another gun - a single stack 9mm and try that. IWB is not for everyone including me.

Move the holster around, try different positions, and cants. I prefer mine just behind my right hip, canted forward one notch. However everyone is different.

I primarily carry a USPc 40 or a Glock 27 OWB and wear large tall or extra large tall tees. You can probably do the same. I also have a couple of large tall safari style shirts with long tails.

IWB has never worked for me. It is uncomfortable in one or more of my daily positions, usually sitting or squating. I've accepted OWB as the way to go. Good luck.

How do you like your new P2000sk?

Holsters fit for people is somewhat unique. What works for one may not work for another. Changing the angle of the holster, position of carry affect comfort. Also having pants approx. 1" -2" larger than normal helps too.
Finally , getting used to wearing a holster and gun may take a while.

When it is hot outside I wear an untucked shirt, (over a tee shirt) to cover my P2000sk worn in a Galco Concealable. I'm in Virginia, so weatherwise, this works for about 8 months out of the year. A jacket covers my gun the cooler months.

Attitude wise, I don't much worry about printing or a momentary "flash" . I'm a kind of "dumpy-old nobody" that attracts liitle attention. I doubt anyone is looking to spot my gun.

    What about inside pocket holsters?
The HK is a bit big to carry in a pocket. When I absolutely, positively have to go discreet, (shirtless/ jacketless), I carry my trusty Seecamp in a Hedley pocket holster. As you can see, there's a big size difference between them.

Okay, where are you trying to wear it on your hip? 3:00? 4:00?

Can you take any pictures at all to help up help you?

In general, the farther past 3:00 you wear it on your hip, the more forward cant you'll have to have. You'll probably have to adjust the carry height for comfort as well.

Be patient and experiment. It can take time to find the "sweet spot". The various adjustments that can be made is one of the many great features of the Supertuck.

Also, if you're belt isn't stiff or thick enough, that could be a major detriment to comfortable carry.

That is exactly how I wear mine in my MTAC holster. I've become so used to it, that I don't even know its there. Flat mag base plates will also help make it more concealable.
