how thick is it? I use a velcro backed gun belt and have no issues with it.

The ones I have ordered required me to specify a belt size (1 1/4", 1 1/2", etc). I have both c-clips and the standard clips. Either will fit over my thicker gun belts if the belt and clips are the same size.

The gap on the standard clips is 3/8". Measure the thickness of your belts. As for the width they have 1.25 to 1.75.

if it helps I usually have to go a size up for belt loops due to the thickness of my belts, like my
rafters is a inch and a quarter belt so I have to go inch and half for belt loops to ensure they fit.

I have a 1 and a half inch Beltman belt, and when I ordered my MTAC I indicated that width belt, and the standard clips fit perfectly.

I ordered an MTAC last week and it said 2 weeks in the order confirmation. That is about standard with Comp-Tac. Had it as quick as one week in the past.
