    I got a question

If you carry and you go to a business that doesn't allow firearms do you just take out the firearm or do you take the holster off also?

I do my best not to go to businesses that do not allow, but when I do, it depends on how long I will be there. If I am just running in for a second, just the gun comes out, but if I will be awhile, I remove holster and gun.

    Holster and gun

    I remove just the gun...
I usually wear an IWB and I put the gun back on when I get back to the vehicle.
The only time I do is the pocket pistol I carry... it's just easier.

Nice work by the way... meant to comment earlier. I really dig your gear.

    Take it easy.

I too make a conscious decision not to patronize places that deny my rights. When it is necessary, I usually carry with a cover garment of some sort so I just lock the pistol in the safe and leave the holster on.

So far, no one's ever noticed the empty holster.

    Thanks for your input guys.

I am making a new product and was wondering if there might be a market for it. It's going to be called the "Holster saver"

I talked with a few friends that are LEO's and they think it is a great idea. Basically it is a holster plug. White in color and no butt of the gun.

I have a few customers that always have to take off there firearm because of the work place. This new product can protect a holster from the stress of wearing a holster without the firearm in place. It also allows you to wear the holster without any worry about damaging your holster. Also saves you the time of not having to un holster.

What do you guys think. Would it be something that you might be interested in or feel that there is a market for such a product?

I should have a finished product next week.

I don't do the places of business that I used to if they have posted signs. But when I do go to off limits by state mandate places...like the courthouse and such, I just simply remove my pistol and continue to wear the holster. IWB or OWB won't make any difference.

Makes sense...most IWB's will collapse after time without a gun in it. Repeated times could cause it to get mushy.

Why are you making this white?

With most holsters being dark, wouldn't black or brown be less noticable?

    Just curious...

white doesn't look like a gun. (no threat) Most of it is in the holster also. I am not painting them white. That is the color of the plastic.

Don't go where I can't carry weather or not I am. If they don't want my business when I am they aren't getting it at all. That said sounds like a good idea, some CC holders have good occasions to use it.

I remove the gun. It's not going to be out of the holster that long... LOL.
However, I pull the mag.... so if someone should break into my car and steal it, it's not going to be much use to them.

I remove the gun and holster as well as my mag and mag carrier for government places I can't carry at. As far as business who post, I try to avoid them but if I can't, I don't remove anything. Concealed is concealed.
