I think speed strips are only made in 38/357

I believe you can get HKS Speedloaders. Probably no Speedstrips.

Blademan 21 who is a member here makes speed strips for the 44 sp. They are 8.00 dollars a piece plus shipping.
We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

I have several of Blademan 21 speed strips. Very well made unit. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it and you still will not be as fast as a speedloader. Order the pouch as well. They will fit into a 38/357 dump pouch but the fit is pretty tight and it will not just fall out like the 38/357 speedstrip will.

Lately I've seen posts about .303 British stripper clips used as speed strips for .44s. At the next gun show I'm going to track some down.

I have read this too, but once you know how to use Speed Strips, I don't think there is any way you can be as fast with metal stripper clips. Speed Strips hold the cartridges at the correct spacing to load two at a time, and are peeled away from the two rounds that just entered the chambers.

FWIW, Speed Strips are indeed slow, for a complete reload, but are a very FAST way to load two and get back in the fight, especially once you know how to close the cylinder so that those two loaded chambers will be next in line.

Thanks, hadn't seen those (and I've been looking!). These look promising, I'll need to get some.

Quick update, I went to the site last night to order. Website checkout showed a minimum order of $10 (2 strips are $8.49) and lowest shipping option UPS of something like $5.95.

Called them today. Cust. Svc. was unaware of the minimum order, says it will be addressed. Is also meeting with postal people tomorrow to resolve US mail shipping issues, and should be able to send a couple strips out first class with shipping charge around $2.

We'll be in contact tomorrow after postage is resolved. If all is good, I'll be ordering tomorrow.

BTW, he pointed out these also work with the .410 shotshell too.
    Regards, T Bone.

Can't wait to hear the resolution. I'm ordering mine as soon you do.

    T Bone,

Thanks for doing the legwork on that deal. I'm very interested too and can't wait to get them.

He called me back already, left a message. Removed the $10 minimum order, added first class postage as a shipping option for $2.36 (I was wrong, the $5.97 option was Priority Mail, not UPS). The shipping first class cost may change after he meets with the postal person tomorrow.

He thinks he'll sell a lot more of these with the reduced shipping. I agree. Mine are ordered!
    Regards, T Bone.

Can't beat $10.85 total for them! Have you posted this around? I know many .44 spl owners will be excited to know speed strips exist for them.
