When you size the belt as per instructions on the website, get the measurement as shown, then add an inch and submit. I've ordered 3 in the past, 2 for me and one for my dad and it was the case everytime. The belt will fit the second hole snuggly, not the 3rd. To get the 3rd hole fit, add an inch.

That's great advise. Wish I would have known that before I ordered mine. You might even want to add an 1 1/2" or 2", especially since mine keeps shrinking on me!
I was told to add 1" for IWB wear and leave as is for OWB wear.
Thanks for the heads up I will be ordering mine tommorrow.
Damn, should I call and change the order?
I should be ok though. My normal waist size is 33-34. When I ordered the 2 belts recently I actually rounded up on the length another 1-inch anyhow.
Appreciate the heads up for future orders.
I know I'm kinda bring this back from over a month ago, but didn't want to start a whole new thread...anyhow, I'm ordering a beltman soon....and just want to clarify. Should I measure what hole I go to when wearing IWB and THEN add 1 inch? Or should I just measure to the hole while wearing IWB and leave it alone?
Thanks in advance...

I measure while wearing my holster then add an inch just to be safe. It's always better to have too much length

I always order the 7 hole option rather than 5 hole.
Just gives a bit more flexibility in adjustment.

I always measure the length, without the gun on, as described on his site (same method used by Milt Sparks), then I add 2" to allow for an IWB holster and gun.
Lately I've been wearing my Wilderness Instructor's belt more often than any of my leather ones. Seems my weight keeps fluctuating so the adjustability really helps.
I wear 36" waist pants, and found the 40" waist Beltman the MINIMUM size I needed to order by trying them on in a store. I carry IWB.
I'll add my +1 to all of this. My first Beltman was intended to be for IWB; measured as described, with a 5-hole belt, it ended up being a perfect fit (i.e., 3rd hole)...without a holster.
No prob. My second Beltman was, I think, 2"bigger and 7-hole and is now my IWB belt of choice.
