All right, I have to say it....SkyOps Sucks

I know I've read many posts to this effect and still I didn't listen...

But, I have to say, the Galco SkyOps just isn't very good. It is too thick. It doesn't sit right IWB. It seems to easily print by virtue of the strange waistline (admittedly it doesn't seem to print the gun per se (Sig P239)).

As I wait for my Raven System with custom velcro clips, I think I'll have to rely on my Gunner Deep Conceal shoulder harness.

Thank you for listening. I feel cleansed.

No holster is going to get rid of / not show a strange waist line. The bigger (thicker) the gun - the more strange waist line one will have.

If you are doing a lot of standing / walking and you are wearing a suit, fall coat, etc. I think they do well. Also, if you are LE, and don't need to make CC a top priority, they are good.

For your average non-LE who is doing a lot of driving, sitting, bending over, lifting, etc. I agree.

Is it comfortable? If so dress around the gun. Can pack my full size 1911 with a HBE DC Special with 0 problem's. Same with my BHP in a HBE COM III. Large HD t-shirt and if I want to go heavy concealment a unbuttoned shirt over top. Most folks don't look you in the eyes yet alone at your waist these days. JMO

I wear a tucked shirt 4 days a week (Friday is casual day). I wear a G23 in the SkyOps those 4 days. I find it comfortable and discrete.
