    Ruger SR9 carry

So I bought a nice new Ruger SR9 as a daily carry weapon. Added a Lasermax for better night time target acquisition. Only problem is the only holster (that I can find) for that set up is a Fobus GLT17.

Anyone else sporting a Ruger SR9 with or without a Laser, and what do you carry it in?

To make matters more challenging, I'm a southpaw

don't have it yet but I've got a Bluegrass Holsters Mason-Dixon on order for my SR9. Its a IWB/OWB convertible rig.

I know that Side Guard Holsters and Comp-Tac also have options for the SR9.

    I've been carrying my SR9 in a Crossbreed Supertuck. I don't use a laser.

Have been carrying in either a Don Hume paddle holster or a SmartCarry. Works well in either.

I am really hoping that Blackhawk makes a SERPA for the SR9 pretty soon.

I am wavering between getting an XDm or an SR9 with the tax refund this year. I guess depending on how much the refund is, I could get both.....now I just have to figure out how to sell it to the wife. Hmmm, she has been wanting a little 5 shot 38 snubbie.....maybe if I get her one of those, that will soften her heart......time to plot.

I carry my SR9 in a Don Hume IWB H715-M WC in saddle brown color. Looks and works great. Just ordered a single mag carrier to match it.

BTW...I use my Crossbreed Supertuck for EDC and IDPA. No problems with either.

Comp-Tac makes great holsters - Leftie is no problem. Check them out...

    thanks for the replies/direction

    I sent some of the usual suspects an email and here are some of the responses (or not) getting back to me on my request;

"Unfortunately, Galco is not currently making a left handed holster for the Ruger SR9, and no offerings for the attached Lasermax laser. The number of requests for a particular gun type influences which holsters are available first. Please visit our web site at Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters and fill out a product request form for that firearm type and holster model. Should Galco come out with any fits, they will be listed on the web site as soon as the first production run is scheduled and we can accept orders."

"We don’t have anything yet for the SR9. Sorry."

"I'm sorry but none of our holsters will accommodate the Lasermax accessory. Thank you for your inquiry."

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed. holster1@earlink.net"

"We make holsters for the RGR LCP with crimson trace laser grips." (ok?)

Sounds like unless a bunch of people start buying a SR9 with some attachment for the rail, I won't be seeing anything for my application.

    The search continues...........
