I am not particularly fond of any holster that is designed to carry the entire gun below the belt line, or that isn't designed around a specific handgun.

There are plenty of good IWB holsters out there that will carry the gun in a specific location and allows for a good draw method.

And yea the consensus is probably going to be that they are, well they have already said it.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Slow draw, and you have to use both hands to do it. What if you're shooting from retention? Then what?

Gimmick (crap). Besides, who carries pagers anymore? I know, they have one that looks like a cell phone. But you already carry a cell phone, right?

Thanks for the heads up. I was suspicious when I went to their web page, and saw their video which looked like an infomercial. I must admit the concept of hiding the "clips" was attractive to me. I've been looking into IWB holsters, and I'd love to find something that doesn't have "look my gun is right here" clips. Even if there was a way to make the attachments/clips look like a key ring holder/cell phone etc. Thanks for the "crap" update though. Much appreciated.

There are ways to hide clips. The Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 optional Kydex clips are made to ride behind the belt (so they're hidden). They are sold as making the holster tuckable too, though I don't tuck so I can't comment on how that works.

Another option gaining popularity is Velcro clips. Again, these ride behind the belt, but attach to the belt with Velcro. Several manufactures are using these now (CrossBreed and I think CompTac). I expect others will follow. The BeltMan offers a Velcro lined belt, as do most of the makers of the clips.

Back on topic, it seems not everyone hates the type of holster in question. In the current thread "Fanny pack on a motorcycle", Swaggs has just posted about using a
"pretty sweet IWB, cell phone holder type holster. Cell phone portion sits outside the waistband with a stiff leather panel (to prevent printing), softer leather backing, forming the holster IWB, cross draw."
I've got no idea what brand it is, but it seems to work for him (Note, this was discussed for wear while riding a motorcycle, not sure if it's used at other times or not).
    Regards, T Bone.
