HBE Pro TL Tuckable - A very special holster! Lots of Pics!

This holster is from HBE called the "Pro TL Tuckable" by Eric Larson.

My name is TwinCarry, and I'm a Holster Junkie!
Yep, and in my case, I'm one of those who have NO PATIENTS when it comes to long turnaround times due to back logs. The most I would wait would be a maximum of 4 weeks. Of course there is no one to blame but myself. I'm a holster junkie and I WANT MY HOLSTER NOW!

Just for the record, all the holsters I've acquired through the years are bought either new or used from other members. I'll also take advantage of the "In Stock" items that a lot of holster makers offer. And lastly from ebay (my least favorite).

With all that said, recently I've been hearing feedback from other members that Eric's turnaround times are from 2 - 4 weeks, I decided to give him a try. And again for the record this is my ONE & ONLY holster, I actually had custom made from my 250+ holster collection. I mentioned the number of holsters in my collection so I could justify how special this ONE holster is to me.

Sure enough the rumour is true, Eric delivered in 3 weeks. Another satisfied customer!

Since this is one of my favorite IWB/Tuckable holster, I have decided to use this particular one for 3 of my pistols. Yep and don't worry the 3 pistols fit this holster like a glove.

So would you share a holster with other pistols, as long as they fit?

And lastly (just for fun), can anyone guess which pistol this holster was actually made for?

Hahaha Twin you actually waited for a craftsman to make you some leather! That 3 week wait must have killed you! Waiting is always the worst part but when the leather arrives, often unexpected, it's like a child's christmas. Congrats on the nice leather. Eric has been kicking out some nice leather with turbo quick turn around time.

    Thumbs up

+1 for the tuckable from Eric. It and his DC special are the 2 best deigned holsters out there IMO. No belt needed, even with my .45 which dissapears under a HD or STEELERS t-Shirt.
Congrads TwinCarry on a beautiful holster and great pics.

How do you like the one-clip design?
Does it keep your EDC stable?
How about on the draw? Does it move or come out?
Reholstering: Does the mouth of the holster stay open? i.e. one-hand reholstering.

Now that I'm deployed, I'm looking to get some leather for my P229 and P226 (maybe one for a new XD...who knows). I've got time to wait for a holster...and was looking at Eric's work...

That's pure sweetness. I'm planning on the same model for my Kahr CW9, just trying to figure out colors.

Great post and nice looking holster! I had emailed Eric about a custom holster for my Ruger SR9 with a Lasermax. Doesn't sound like there is a blue gun made yet though

    Single clip design?

Does the weapon flop around when hooked with only one clip?

What about on the draw? Does the holster stay in place?

I cannot answer for TwinCarry but the ProTL (that I sold as the 36 was stolen by my wife) with its single clip for my 36 kept the gun rock hard stable, was easy to draw from with no problem, but since the mouth is not reenforeced was a little more difficult to re holster. The TL stands for Thin Line BTW.

The holster is thin at the mouth offering excellent concealablitiy and you won't have to take another notch out of your belt to strap it on.

Like my DC Special with it's 2 clips I do not need a belt when packing either one. Says much for the design especially for the extra weight of the SA .45.

You cannot go wrong with an HBE holster made by Eric!!

You asked, I haven't seen anyone answer. Which gun is the holster made for?

Well, I don't know if I should answer, as I match holsters to guns all day long by stitch lines, molding lines, etc.

I know, but maybe I'll keep it secret.

    Nice holster.

The holster was actually made for my K40. The give away is the mag holster. The K40 mag fits in perfectly. If you look at the pictures closely, you'll see it.

Hey, if I'm going to spend over $100 on a holster, might as well use it with other pistols as long as it fits. Right? I'm glad your doing the same thing.
