More than 20, probably closer to 30. I have holsters that are 20+ years old that I use regularly.

I have 3: a piece of junk Uncle Mike's nylon IWB, a Tagua Leather slide holster, and a comptac infidel.

No doubt I'll end up buying more in the future.

I haven't counted. But it is definately more than 20. It takes awhile to find the right holster. They need to be worn, broken in and then you can see if they are right, over a period of time.

Then you will aquire more handguns and need more holsters. One holster may be good for one handgun, but the same type of holster may not be good for another handgun.

I have 3, I stopped when I got to the SuperTuck. Since I don't have a pretty gun I don't need a pretty holster, I need function. When I go buy the holy grail 1911 one day I may get me a nice OWB holster for it, especially if they pass OC in TX and I get a wild hair and carry OC (not starting that debate here).

Just one. I was very lucky finding something that fit and functioned well for my needs. SuperTuck just works.

    I chose 2.

One is a blackhawk IWB for my Kahr PM9.
The other is one my friend just gave me. It is a over the shoulder Galco large frame auto. My 1911 doesn't fit it perfectly but it fits.
I am a little worried that it might turn off the safety of the 1911.

For your own safety, and those you come in contact with, I recommend that you don't carry a firearm in a holster that "doesn't fit" but "works".
