Lou is a friend of a friend. I never met him, but have spoke with him on the phone a few times. He was a good guy, and his work reflected that. He will be missed.

Sad news for sure. He was always a gentleman with his peers and his customers. His unselfish willingness to share his secrets with the new guys in the business has benefitted us all. His work was art and getting a package from him was like Christmas morning as a kid. I wish I knew more like him. My condolences to his family.

Unfortunately, I didn't realized the significance of quality leather until after he had stopped taking orders. His holsters are simply amazing. He will be missed.

My favorite 1911 gets carried in one of Lou's holsters. Only emailed back and forth with him, but he sure came across as a nice guy.
My prayers go out to his family.

    I will greatly miss Lou

Bought my first Alessi OWB in 1987 - Still wear it today - It is for my PPK.
Below are two that I use for my 1911:

    CQC-S:

Also own an IWB for PPK and Mag pouch for 1911 - just don't have pics up yet!
