THAT's the one I wanted to see!! Really sweet job you've done on that, LOS. I just ordered the SuperTuck in horsehide today. Once I get it (3 or 4 wks) I'll wear it around and see if I need to tweak it a bit, and you've set a great template for the rest of us. Thanks for sharing.
hey los and to think i almost bought that holster from you. im tankryankn379 from houston. It looks good bro. ill be in corpus this weekend.
:rofl:Dude if you wanna vent more, let me order a ST and you can have at mine.
He he lmao im a lil hesitant to order any IWB due to rather large love handles.
The family's in Corpitos
Negative. That's a cheap, junky copy of Crossbreed's design and I hope Mark sues the pants off him!
I agree 100%. Nothing is better than My CB. In the last week or so I cut up a tree, split it and stacked. Shoveled snow to day for a few hrs (NE). I always work with it on and forget it is there. I will buy from Mark again.
I've had a few PMs and emails in the last few days to show all the tools and supplies I used to modify the SuperTuck.
Here's a photo that shows everything I used (except for the screwdriver) for the modifications....
LOS, to wear it as an AIWB which holes do you use. I have it in the very top and very bottom and it is still to much cant. Plus it rides low at this combination. Did you special order? The only way I can see to get the neutral cant is to have the kydex rotated some.
I played with the holster all day and I love it so far, but I definately have to modify for the proper grip. I already have a blister!
Los, thanks, you've inspired me too! I've had a very early Super Tuck that has been mostly in the holster drawer due to lack of a proper grip.
Mark offered to cut it for free way back when, but I never sent it back to him (purely my fault).
Been planning on doing the cut, and today I finally got around to it. I now have a comfortable holster for my Glocks that I can get a proper grip/draw from, and I am certain it will see far more use than it has in the past several years (just switched to the G19, I'd forgotten how comfortable these lightweight pistols could be!).
I'll get some pics up in a day or two, need to transfer them to the other computer, resize in Photoshop and upload to Fototime...
Thanks for the inspiration!
THANKS for the pat on the back. I really appreciate it...!
The Combat Grip really makes a HUGE difference, doesn't it? I look forward to viewing the photos of your recent modifications. Please feel free to post them on this thread, if you'd like.
LOS, I carry a 26 or 19 strong side appendix. I have been making some templates all night trying to see what will work for me. Every time I make a change it leads to another change. Thanks for the Info!
