IWB Holster questions. Rosen or Sparks

I am interested in the Mitch Rosen ARG holster for a Glock G-26. I would like to recieve feedback regarding comfort and stability compared to other holsters such as the ARG Express, and the Milt Sparks VMII.

    I would appreciate your thoughts.

    Jim

I have used both and prefer the VMII. Single loop holsters like the ARG just don't support a gun properly and the front end of the holster tends to move up and down as you move wheras they VMII an others with a dual loop stay where you put them. For a short, top heavy gun like the G26 I'd go with the VMII. In the long run you'll be glad you did and if you ever decide to sell it, it will move very fast.

When I had my Glock I really liked the VM-II

Rosen makes an ARG DL which has a second loop for stabilization which is nice but with a price tag of $170 it really makes you think twice. Mitch makes fantastic leather but his prices are tough to swallow. A VM2 plus mag holder is about the same price. I would take a serious look at TT gunleather. The quality of Milt Sparks with a shorter wait. I have VM2's, ARG's but will usually grab the TT leather IWB. They seem to curve my waist for a more comfortable fit.

Thank-you for your replies. Your comments really help, anbd make sense. I will look for a VMII type holster, either a Sparks or a TT.

    Thanks again.

You might want to look at Eric at HBE Leather's COM III Holster. Its very similar to the VMII and he only has a 4-6 week wait time. This leather quality is the best.
