Okay, who will admit to it?

All right, I admit that once in a blue moon I have the audacity to carry a GP100 in a horrible way, without even a proper speedloader. Oh the shame! But at least I use a custom made holster when I do it!

I'm calling you out: who here goes Mexican style, no holster, gun in the pants, that's it?

Personally I just can't do it. The dang thing shifts around too much, it makes me uncomfortable and I feel it's unsafe, and it's just not as good as using a holster. But I know it happens ALL THE TIME.

They sell everything from special revolver grips to accommadate it better to the Clipdraw, and even at that I know good and well many people do it constantly without any product or aid at all.

So, do you do it, and how do you get away with it?

I never have. I have a pocket holster, albeit a cheap one, but it works. I rarely carry the J-frame anyway, but when I do it's in either a pocket holster or smart-carry.
I don't even own a speedloader for it.

I've stuck a 1911 in my belt before. Usually around the house though and for brief periods of time.

I cannot carry the USP sans holster. The mag. release gets bumped. Usually I take the time to throw a hoster on, paddles are not that hard to quickly don.

Likewise, the small S & W 642 sometimes gets shoved in a jacket pocket. Haven't yet tucked any guns in the belt without a holster though.

Not legal in GA. I would feel uncomfortable carrying it like that anyways.

Never ever (yet!) gone Mex carry. Even R9 will usually be in pocket rig or ankle. That said, it has slipped into coat pocket a time or two, as-is.

Oh oh woops - yes - coupla times have stuffed something down small of back inside belt - but that was long, long ago.!

Only gun that gets no special attention is NAA mini - that is straight in pocket - top right of shirt or lower right in vest - small enough to do just fine - but checked for lint regularly.

I did it two nights ago, but to be fair I was on my way to buy a holster. It wasn't too bad actually, of course I was only carrying that way for an hour or so.
