Review...My new Pure Kustom
After talking holsters with Rocky from Pure Kustom Holsters about his designs for some time, he finally dropped of this beauty for my Sunday BBQ's. While his Black Ops combination holster is his big seller, I wanted a regular OWB belt scabbard. I never review a holster until after at least a week's wear and hundreds of draws. This beauty has surpassed my expectations. The cant and rise are perfect. Belt loops very tight, but they will loosen with use. It came tight, but with wearing it around the house for a week and doing many draws, it's now lightning fast. I prefer to avoid the plastic wrap technique unless it's absolutely necessary. I like the gun to break the holster in itself.
Rocky's hand tooling/stamping skills are amazing. I can't imagine how hard the tiny detail work of the jump wings was. The blue flames shimmer and change colors in daylight. It is a very handsome holster on the belt. The double stitching is a nice touch and the boning matches the gun perfectly, especially on the inside. His holsters are built on a curve to match your hip which provides a very comfortable fit. I'd recommend his work to anyone, especially if you need an IWB and OWB. The Black Ops fills the bill for both. And no, the Captain America gripped gun is not mine!

"But if they don't exist, how can a man see them?"
"You may think I'm pompous, but actually I'm pedantic... let me explain the difference."
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything."

Rocky also sells the grips, they're just not up on his website yet. Contact him if you're interested.
