    Taqua Holsters

I bought a new Taqua holster for my G23 off ebay today for $21.00. Are these holsters very good? I have seen them at my local store/range and they are priced around $60 or so.

I've seen them listed on Ebay.
Most of the full OWB holsters had retention straps on them though so I never bothered buying and trying one due to that.

The construction and molding looked real good though.

The only thing is you cannot tell how stiff the leather is from a photo.

Let us know how you like yours and how it holds up.

I have a high-ride, straight drop Tagua for my Glock 27. I have not been able to get it to break in very well. It remains very stiff, even after using all the break-in tricks I know. My front sight also snags leather as I draw.

My only OWB is by Tagua for a 642 snubbie. It is fine. Leather and quality is good. The thumb break keeps the gun in place unlike other holsters I have for it.
Got it for about $30 and use it when I don't have big pockets available.

I definately would consider another Tagua BUT, I would want to try the gun in it first, as I did at Benton Shooters.

I own one of their small belt sliders. Like you I'd didn't pay a lot for it, but it seems well made to me.

I bought one of the open top holsters for my 1911 Mon. and I like it, wearing it right now.
