I'm sure everyone will agree that holster 1.0 won't be too great but practice really does make perfect.
I have made 7 different holsters and some good and some bad but all where mine. I use 10 oz leather and wet it sown and form in to the gun and when it dries it will retain its shape and then you can trim it and when you do the sewing get a sewing awl and wet the leather down and it will help allowing the tread to bite in.
I love my homemade kydex holster. The one I made for my glock, the one I made for my leatherman and the one I made for my flashlight. I need more things to make with kydex because I have a lot more supplies.
