I was about to order a Mike holster for a S&W 340PD & discovered there is a fairly long wait. Is there another good brand that might be more readily available?
Thanks in advance.

+1 on the Desantis Super FLY, if you don't want to wait on the MIKA. Try Desantis directly on their website, if you can't find a ready vendor.
I have a couple Rough Outs available for shipping now.

RKBA holsters makes a very good pocket holster for j frames. Not very expensive and works well with a pretty decent turnaround time

The perfect pocket holster is the one with a 'thumb push'...
See 'Related Links'...search out Fist #5k...a kydex pocket holster with the 'thumb push'...others here have discovered this great idea for a pocket holster.

IMO, there's no real replacement for a Mika. They're simply the best. That's why I have 5 of them and NO I'm not selling!

I use a Desantis Nemeses holster for my S&W J frame 431 .32 H&R magnum. Works as advertised.
God bless our troops!
Back when I had a S&W 442 Airweight .38, I carried it in a Mitch Rosen Pocket Softy holster. It was very secure, kept upright due to the larger/squared shape, and a draw would always result in leaving the holster in the pocket. I thought it was a perfect match for a small revolver. The last one I had made was several months ago and it took about a month.

Fill in with something else but go ahead and order the Mika. I have one for a J-frame and love it
x2. I ordered the Mika and used a Nemesis from Midway USA until the Mika arrived. I find now I use both equally depending on the shape of the pocket I carry the 642 in.
The Mika is like an AK rifle. Not the prettiest, but it works (and works, and works, and ....)
Cheers!
