This is a discussion on Beltman Belts. Bullhide vs Horsehide?? within the Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I know the horsehide is the stiffer of the two. Is it too stiff for everyday wear, or should I go with the bullhide?...

CCW permit holder for Idaho, Utah, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Hampshire. I can carry in your country but not my own.
For IWB it really does not matter. For OWB get the most stiff belt that will fit your loops. Horse will be a little stiffer. I would even add an internal stiffner if you are carrying a larger gun. But no, horse will not be too stiff.
Good post for me to read, as I just ordered one of his horsehide belts
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
I just received my Bullhide and it is just as stiff as a horsehide one I have from another company.
Great belts. Goes great w/ my rig from Del Fatti.
I use beltman belts in Bullhide to carry a fullsize 1911 with no problems. Belt does not sag at all and I don't have the stiffener in it. The horsey belts look nice too though, I will probably end up with one later. I think you would be fine either way as far as comfort.
