When I first started carrying it was always IWB. Now after a couple of years I really prefer OWB. My edc is a Kahr P9. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I just find OWB with my shirt untucked works well for me. Thanks.

Dave, any suggestions for an OWB for a Taurus model 85 UL with a 2 inch barrel?
I felt like I had to carry IWB when I started. Everyone pushed me that way... but I eventually downsized (Airweight 642) and carry OWB daily. I like it better.
I've carried IWB for so long I feel naked without it. Most OWB's now feel less secure than my trusty IWB's.
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
It depends on what I am wearing and the pistol I am carrying.

Lord, Grant me a good sword and no need to use it.
Dave,
I think I like the look of the Hoplons. I'll be calling in the next few days.

I've grown accustomed to IWB's...
I tried OWB, but found it awkward and bulky...OMO

Most of the time it is a G23 on the hip, if I am going where there will be crowds then in is IWB appendix carry.- George
I only carry OWB and find it very comfortable and easy to draw. Mostly leather but you may also want to consider Fobus with I also like, I prefer paddle in both styles. Just my .02 cents.

When I'm carrying my Sig, i'm OWB, 100% of the time. No worries about printing 'cause this is an open carry state. If I need more full concealment some reason, I carry a S&W 638 in my front pocket (with a holster)
S&W 638 .38 :: Sig P229 :: Ruger MkIII :: VEPR K 5.45x39 AK-74 :: Mosin Nagant M44 :: Hi-Point 995 9mm (shoulder fired pistol)
lately I have been using a Wilson Combat Lo-Profile OWB. Resonable price and the gun rides High to prevent the barrel sticking out when I raise an arm. These have a breakin period though.
I also find myself preferring OWB. Getting ready to order a couple of holsters for my G27. First will be an OWB.

I actually switch constantly. Sometimes I just want a little more coverage, other times I want a faster draw. Sadly the more coverage is the OWB, and faster draw is IWB for me. Both are pretty comfortable.
I know not what this "overkill" means.
Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.
It took me a while to find just the right combination of guns and holsters to be comfortable and they're mostly IWB because I can conceal them better. OWB holsters tend to peek out under my coats or shirts a little faster than IWB.
I've actually had OWB holsters that were uncomfortable. It's just the combination of a gun, the leather, and the lay of the land (i.e. your particular hip and waist). It's a pain getting there but once you do and you can just carry, it's sweet!!
For outdoor hunting/fishing, I tend to carry OWB a bit more to keep the gun out of the way of packs, etc.
