Found this holster at a gun show years ago. It will hold the gun upright or canted foreward or backwards. It will hold a extra magazine on the handle side. I am going to start wearing it again and am wondering have any of you ever seen one? Where can I find a replacment if I wear this one out?
Thanks for the site. This holster is realy neet. I can carry about any gun in it. The snub nose revolvers hammer hang up when drawing. My PM9 disapears behind the belt. It is easy to put on and take off.
Yes it is a Lightweight Commander I carried since the late 70's.
The pipe is empty.
I bought it after returning home from a class at Jeff Coopers Gun Sight Ranch.
After wearing it for a day I remember what I don't like about this holster. It wants to ride up when you sit down. If it had J clips it would work better.
The owners opinion is what really matters, but I see no good reason for the holster, but do see the objections stated, difficulty in getting a full grip, carrying not cocked and locked, and not boned sufficiently to keep the gun in place.
I just much prefer leather boned holsters by the better makers.
