Galco hands down. Of course as for which OWB it would be, it all depends on the gun. I am quite fond of the Galco Avenger, the Concealable Belt Holster isn't bad either.
I'm not overly familiar with Ross, but based on what I've had from Galco and DeSantis, Galco is the better made holster.
Don Hume holsters beat most of the Galco holsters. They seem to be better built and have reinforced openings that most Galco holsters lack. Hume has been supplying LEOs for many years -- good leather at good prices.
For OWB, look at the Agent 711 if you want a thumb break (let's not start that debate). I have two, and they work well.
CPL
I am using Galco.
But to be honest, Bianchi is the only other leather I have any experience with for CCW.
Out of the choices....DeSantis. I have one for my P220, but I don't have a G21SF. I got this silly feeling of deja vu here. Wasn't this a poll earlier today?
I don't know anything about all these others. I went with a High Noon holster. I have two, one for my HK and one for my Beretta. They're nice.
Randy
what gun?
Aker Flatsider is good for the money.
Wilson Combat makes a nice Lo profile OWB that is very high riding so as to keep the gun from showing. HBE makes some nice stuff. But the gun is really what it all swings on
Galco Rocks! But.....Bianchi is king!
CCW: Never get killed for lack of shooting back!
I would also agree with Don Hume. Expensive but what the hay what's another $400 bucks.
Personally, I don't like leather. I want to know where my pistol is and that it is secure and ready.
Say what you might about plastic but most of your pistol is also probably plastic too.
For OSB I prefer a Fobus paddle model to fit your gun.
Plastic has some features that you just can't get with leather, locking finger release with Sig made holsters. Other patented means to hold the weapon secure without a tie strap, etc.
If you understand, things are just as they are... If you do not understand, things are just as they are....
