For all you Glock 21sf w/ picatinny rail owners, which brand would you choose?
I know not what this "overkill" means.
Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.
I have a Blackhawk! Serpa thigh rig. But let's just try sticking to the choices available, please.
I like the DeSantis holsters. I don't have a G21SF though.
Galco makes a good holster and good customer service
Try Side Guard. Ask for Erik.
I voted Galco 'cause I use one now and I like it alot. I've used a DeSantis and it was a good holster. Never heard of Ross.

Galco all the way! I've has several different Galco holsters and holsters of other brands. There is just something about a Galco holster. They are built very well and are great quality... though a bit expensive. You get what you pay for. In a way the holster you have is about as important as the gun you carry. You need to be able to trust both in a defensive situation. Will you put your life in the hands of a budget holster? My daily Carry is a full size Kimber TLE 2 SS 1911 in a Galco OWB holster. I love it.
i chose galco becuase I recently bought one and i love it. Although mine is for a 1911, i think the model is the same with the exception of how it is shaped to fit the correct gun
Galco Concealable is my choice.
In fact, when folks ask what would be a good temporary holster while waiting for their custom made one, I would recommend Galco's Concealable for OWB and Galco's Royal Guard for IWB.
Since Galco's prices fairly high, I would first find a good used one.

Save a Greyhound. Adopt one.
From what I've seen, Galco seems to have the best quality, but I haven't seen any holsters from Ross before, so I can't judge effectively. Cost wise though, Galco also seems to be the most expensive... I guess for the price I'd pay for a Galco holster, I'm much more likely to spend a little bit more and support one of the many custom holster makers.
