I have a Comp Tac OWB holster and a Beltmam 1 1/2" Belt. The holster fits perfectly, but has a tendency to shift a good 2" forward or back between the two belt loops on either end of the holster. Any suggestions on how to keep the holster in one position that will still allow easy addition or removal of the holster from the belt?
I keep my belt tight enough so that it doesn't sag and that also seems to keep the holster in place.
Tighten up the belt. Its is not a dress belt that is for show or fashion. It is doing a job, and that job is holding your weapon tight to your side.
I've tighten up the belt. If I tighten it anymore my eyes will either explode or I'll throwup. There must be some way to prevent the holster from moving without causing abdominal strangulation. The belt doesn't sag the holster just has a tendency to move forward or backward.
If the loops on the holster are an exact fit for the belt size, and the belt is a good firm belt which is sufficiently tightened...I don't understand how the holster can move?:confused::rolleyes::confused::rolleyes: :blink:

Take some sandpaper and rough up the area where the holster contacts the belt.
Tighten the Belt, rough up the holster side against the pants, or put some skater tape along the belt loop holes against the belt.
Belt is 1 1/2, holster loops are 1 1/2 and pants loops are 1 1/2. The sanding and the tape sound like pausible ideas. Thanks.
I've made some replacement parts for a group of LEOs in Salt Lake. They were to replace the pelt slot part on some SideGuard (I think?) kydex holsters. I basically made the same piece from leather instead of plastic. I ended up replacing every one for each of their officers, so I guess it worked.
If the part is removable, you might consider something like this.

make sure that you are wearing your holster in a way that you can take advantage of a beltloop.
You could also try velcro tape on the belt and holster.....worked for me.:image035:
I try to position the belt slots fore and aft of two belt loops if possible...kind of function like belt keepers on a LEO duty belt, makes the holster very sturdy and not shifting. May just thread one slot then thru a belt loop, then a slot again...limits the movement of the holster to a very small area.
