If I recall, this lay-term act is referred to as the “sympathy squeeze” and is essentially an autonomic response. Now that this has been studied in detail, I’m surprised that gun makers still include the hooked trigger guard design, which is very seldom used for this reason.

I have carried my wallet in my left front pocket for years since it is harder for a pickpocket to get to and I carry two magazines inmy left back pocket for ease of access

Weak side front pocket. Need to downsize it too... (no, it's not filled with cash, just a bunch of cards such as NRA, Scuba, etc...)

I had to move mine to weak side rear pocket because it kept getting caught on the holster and I had to fight to get it out.

I wear double button'down pocket, short/long sleeve shirts. Carry a small billfold in left shirt pocket, hanky, comb, small picture in right. I also have a flag pin on the left shirt pocket. It draws attention away from my right side. Nothing goes in my right Dockers pants pocket or back pockets. My keys and a small amount of change goes in my left front. My carry is Appendix style, EMP 9mm, Tucker.
