I'm a fan of single-tab tuckables for appendix carry. The double tab ones are very comfortable worn strong side, but one or the other of the two tabs often gets in the way in appendix carry (at least on my frame).
My current favorite holster is a heavily-modified "LFI Rig" from Ted Blocker. It features a velcro-lined belt, a tuckable holster with a velcro tab, and a tuckable mag pouch with a velcro tab. The whole thing just vanishes under regular clothing. I've been using it about six months now, wearing it every day, and have been pleased as punch with it.
I've attached photos. Left to right:
1) the basic holster
2) shirt goes over the holster and tucks in behind the shank
3) pants go over the holster and behind the tab
4) belt hides the tab
5) velcro patch on my contour-cut belt (a straight belt would have a complete velcro lining, but I'm a fan of contour cut belts which are difficult to pair with a straight piece of velcro - so this was our solution).
Thanks Pax. I have been using a Don Hume H715 so far and it works well but it isn't tuckable. I didn't think I would need a tuckable AIWB because I thought just a t-shirt would work well enough.
This past weekend it was a little windy and my shirt blew up twice and I know I was spotted at least one of those times.
I have two holsters made by The Tennessee Holster Company. They are incredibly versatile, reliable and well made. Check out their web site at gunworks.com.
Appendix is the most concealable for me as long as I'm standing, but how do you appendix fans sit down to eat? The only way I can figure is a rather aggressive cant to the outside leg, since the alternative is just a tad too creepy no matter how many safeties the weapon has...
I carry an XD40SC, identical to your 9mm and I use the Split Decision from High Noon Holsters. The only downside I have found is the need for an undershirt to keep the gun from aggrivating your skin as the holster lacks a slide guard.
