    obvious but overlooked carry method

I discovered that a Kahr P9 fits amazingly well in the fifth pocket of a pair of Levi 569's. It even covers the trigger and holds the pistol snug (even while walking or bending at the waist, although it kind of jabs at your belly). Wearing a not-too-baggy t-shirt covers it quite well.

Interesting. And the P9 doesn't wiggle out over time?

I wore it all day yesterday that way doing errands around town. I guess this post is USELESS WITHOUT PICS.

I just think it's counterproductive to over~repeat multiple requests for pics.
The entire "Page 1" of this thread was getting eaten up with individual requests for pictures.
I'm sure the request for pics was noted by the forum member & he will post photos...if he is able to put photos up.
But, please stay "On Topic" to the subject of his thread.

Not a good idea. Unload your gun and go run a 50 yard dash and tell me how well it held the gun.

I carry a K9, and I would not be comfortable carrying w/o a holster. Even if the trigger is covered, it seems like too much possibility of having a ND.

Seems like cloth doesn't protect the gun enough. Too easy for the gun to fall out, or have the magazine release bumped and have the mag. out of lock up .

Modified mexican carry? Instead of just tucking it in your waistband, you stick it in a pocket?

Running a 50 yard dash carrying in this style is no less dangerous than doing the same with a clip-on IWB holster. Hell, it is all subjective. I am sure we do not all wear our clothes in the same fashion, as none of us carry in the same way. A carry method that is ideal for me, may be completely useless to someone else. My intention was not to get flamed. I was just trying to be creative.

Also, keep in mind, this is not my "primary" mode of carry...dang.

BTW- I hear people talk about how easily the Karh's magazine release is to depress. But, mine seems pretty stiff.

Fear not Hag' - may have seemed a rather ''hot'' reception but I do think many folks have a genuine concern for the security of the piece. I know the 50 yd dash is most unlikely but - thoughts are geared I think to the safety angle.

The bottom line - the old saying, is still ''whatever works'' for the individual As an occasional carry mode it could well be just fine as long as you have the safety aspect well nailed.

Not trying to flame ya, just relating things I have found out already. Nothing worse than taking the gun out at the end of the day and have the mag. drop free w/ out pushing the mag. release. only way it could have been worse is if I had needed the gun and the mag fell free.

    Thumbs up

The Pocket Lint problem can be solved if you can turn the pocket inside out & roll it with a lint roller before you put your firearm in there.
