Kahr P9 vs K9 for holster fit?

I have seen a holster for sale for a Kahr K9. I have a P9, and am wondering if the K9 holster will fit the P9?

Looking at the spec sheet for the two the K9 is 0.2" longer, but the other dimensions shown are the same. Of course there may be difference that cause problems other than the width and Height.

I cannot find any info on a holster maker's site that gives that info.

By chance does anyone here know if the K9 holster will fit the P9? Probably only a holster maker would know.

In my experience they will work sometimes and sometimes won't. I have a P-40 and a K-40 my minotaur holster will work on either but I have a bladetech that will only fit the steel framed K-40. I have a couple of leather holsters that wll work on either. I hope thishelps more than it confuses.

Galco's list the same item number for those two pistols. I just ordered a Dom Hume PCCH holster for mine, I wanted somthing fast and it was in stock.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I tend to think that leather holsters are more likely to fit than kydex. Leather has some give that kydex does not.

I found that out in a plastic holster that was listed for a Kimber compact and Browning HP. I bought it thinking it would also work with my SA Compact. I also have a Kimber Compact and the holster would fit that gun, but not my SA.

This is the one I made for my Kahr CW9 which looks to be the same size as the P9 with the exception that the slide doesn't taper on the
P9.

7/8 oz. leather, hand stitched with linen thread and passes the shake test. I wear it everyday at lest until I get the one built for the
HK P2000.

Well- I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not. I buy PM9 holsters for my MK9 and they fit very well. It's hard for me to tell with pictures if the same applies to the K and P.

I bought one of the two available yesterday. I appreciate the help that all gave.
