Today Lightning Arms had at least one Del Fatti OWB LPS for a 4 inch 1911.

Thank you for all the kind assessment of my work. I work hard to build the best gear I can and it's nice to have the effort noticed.
I did want to make a point however. Too often, IWB holsters with fore and aft loops are viewed by many as "the same design". Tony's VMII design differs from most (except the ones that are direct copies of his original design) in that it incorporates a wrap around steel reinforced collar to a pancake construction. Although I can reinforce the wall of the holster mouth as those ordered by Lightning Arms, the ISP-LP was never intended to provide the long term hard use durability of a steel reinforced wrap around collar. The primary goal of the design was to maximize carry comfort by spreading out the loops to broaden the weight bearing footprint on the belt and for the back of the holster to present a smooth "plate" of leather against the body. I have other designs intended to cover the long term hard use need. While Tony's design was original (as in the first of it's kind), the concept of mine was derived from a design for an IWB/OWB convertable pancake holster first built (as far as I know) by Thad Rybka. That, in turn, can be traced back to Roy Baker's original pancake holster design.
I thought some of you might find that of interest.
I have 2 Milt Sparks VM2s - for 3" and 5" 1911's - they're both awesome holsters that I would recommend for anyone for any firearm.
I haven't seen a Del Fatti in person but they look fantastic online.

Del Fatti for my Ed Brown Special Forces Gov. Nothing Better..
I have a black alligator Del Fatti PH-3 (also had a cordovan one that I sold) and agree that his work is outstanding. Now if I can just get my Seecamp .380, I'll actually have something to use it with.
