I have three Alessi Ankle rigs, two for "J" frames with one lined and one unlined. I prefer the unlined as it is much thinner but just as comfortable. Lou did it as a special order. My other is for a HK P7 and I just bought one from 5Shot for a Walther P99c. The 5Shot is an identical copy of the Alessi but I had John put a thumb break on it. Ankle carry is comfortable but requires a whole different training mindset. I carried my bug for years this way. Forgot, I also have a Milt Sparks Ankle rig for a "J" frame and that is extremely rare.

Helps to put your sock partially over the bottom of the rig. When your seated, no leather shows.
