Contoured Gun Belts
How many of you have tried a contoured gun belt.Seems it would be more comfortable particularly so when the belt has a reinforcement liner.Heavy stiff belts i have tried cut into my sides untill broken in and with the liner i dont think it would ever conform to my sides, and i want it comfortable from the start. I need a leather gun belt but cannot decide on the maker. I found a belt that has almost all options available,Contoured,Kydex reiforcement liner,Tapered from 1.5" to 1.25" or 1". No exotic leather or .75" hole spacing. The price is really good for those features, $75. Sounds like a great deal compared to most with those options. Its made by Comp-Tac. anyone tried their belts?

Haven't tried the Comp-Tac belt, but love the Galco ones and the ones from Ted Blocker Holsters.
I'm absolutely a believer in 'em. Much more comfortable from the beginning -- and for those whom they fit, much more stable! If you have to break a belt down before you're comfortable in it, you're going to be tempted to always wear a (floppy, unstable) broken-down belt. Get the shape that fits your body in the first place and you'll be amazed at the difference.
Of course, there are lots of people for whom straight belts are the cat's pajamas. But if your body isn't built to take a straight belt, move over to a contour cut and don't look back.

I love the contour belts. With a straight belt, it's constantly trying to conform to what a contour is, but never quite makes it. In order to, it has to bend or kink. I've got both Milt Sparks and Gary Brommeland's contoured belts...you couldn't find better.
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
