    My new Alessi Ankle rig...(pics)

I just got back from a little visit to Alessi holsters to pick up my new Alessi Ankle rig for my G27. It was fresh out of the oven and still warm when Tom handed it to me. The fit and finish are outstanding. The G27 is held securely in place and feels very reassuring. Thank you Tom and all the friendly people at Alessi for doing such great work.

The Alessi ankle holster for Glock is in stock and available for immediate delivery. Call Tom Kluwicki 716-706-0321 or email him at tom@alessigunholsters.com with any questions or special requests. Tell him Todd sent you.

They are currently working on a run of CQC/s holsters and they should be shipping them in a week or two. If you want the most comfortable OWB holster currently on the market you need to get an Alessi CQC/s.

Looks well-padded and comfortable, but I can't imagine running with that strapped to an ankle...no retention strap? Curious.

It is really in there snugly. It will only pull out when pulled straight up. When the ankle strap is snugged down there is a tension across the front of the gun. A very nice arrangement.

FWIW: My sprinting and jogging days are behind me but I am confident that if I had to sprint for cover or away from danger this would hold the G27 in there without moving a bit.

The Alessi is THE Law Enforcement/Detective ankle rig.
They have been considered to be the finest for as long as I can remember.

    Congrats.

The quality is every bit as good as you have come to expect from Alessi. The fit is outstanding.

It was 80 degrees today so I didn't try it out with long pants but it should get a test run tomorrow. I will post my impressions after it sees an 8 hour shift.

I'd have to break out my old bellbottoms to cover a Glock like that!
    Beautiful rig though.

It's a G27. Heck, it's practically an LCP in dimension.

I can run with a heavy SP101 in my Alessi rigs, made before Lou Alessi's untimely death. One has a longer strap for wearing over the shaft of a duty boot, one has a shorter strap for wearing over a sock. I have another, a spare in case those wear out, but it looks like that won't happen anytime soon. No, I don't wear ankle rigs while running for exercise, but if I have to run a few blocks after a bad guy, there are no issues with the Alessi rigs.

As for carrying a Brick, er, Glock, in an ankle rig, well, with my skinny legs, not likely.

Congratulations on a great holster! It is good to see Alessi holsters still being made.

Bell Bottoms not nec. I've now carried my Glock 26 in mine many, wearing regular straight leg Wrangler jeans. Boot cut would be better perhaps, but the straights work fine for me.

This plus a PM9 in a Milt Sparks pocket holster, and I've got a quality 9mm available all the time, standing or sitting, and a good back up too. All while wearing a t shirt in warmer weather, tucked or not, no matter.

I still love carrying my full sized 1911's, but when armed as above and a spare magazine or two in a pocket, I am quite well protected, and no one notices a thing.
    Regards, T Bone.

Siafu - It's been a while and would love to hear if you still think it's great. Thanks!
