Holsters and Belts for 1911 (pics)

This is a discussion on Holsters and Belts for 1911 (pics) within the Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; Nice looking rigs. I like the color on the second better. But that stitching on the first really sets it off. Good job on selection....

Sparks. It's better built and I like the higher ride. Sparks belts are also great. You can have a belt too stiff. The Sparks belt is like Baby Bear's soup...just right.

    Thumbs up

Love the MS and that Dan Wesson!!!! Is the DW a Commander length barrel?

Have a TT Gunleather Elite DDO with sharkskin trim and matching belt on order for my 3" S&W CS-1, which will be my new winter CCW.

Hope it turns out as nice as yours.

    Beautiful rig and pistol.

How do you guys keep your leather looking so good. All of mine are worn, scratched, beat up & sweat stained......

Same way I keep my boots clean...I clean and polish them regularly. Of course, I work indoors so neither my boots or my holsters get too much exposure to the elements.

I use somewhat lesser priced and more readily available D.M. Bullard holsters and belt for more day to day stuff. They are worn, scratched and sweat stained.
