Are there boot holsters?
I am looking to carry a Kel Tec P11 as a back up inside the rim of my boots.
(the ankle holster i have for it adds a little to much to still fit inside the boot top)
(Edit: the ankle holster will fit if it is a bit higher up than the top of the boot -- not as ideal as having it concealed within the boot itself)
I was wondering if there are holsters designed for such a location or are there certain ankle holsters better suited for fitting inside of a boot?
Thanks!

Have you considered any other ankle holsters or boots? I carried a model 36 in an ankle holster for many years wearing either wellington or (taller) cowboy style boots.
I found having the ankle holster inside the boot made things a little more secure and eliminated the concern of my pants cuff riding up.
FWIW, I found the key to that rig was a little bit of sheepskin or foam padding to cushion my ankle bone.

Thanks for the info!
After working with it for a while, I have found a way that it is a little more comfortable. However, I think the angle that my current ankle holster tries to put the gun at is part of the problem.
I will look into some others with a more vertical position of the gun. The one I currently have is a Galco Cop Series.
Any suggestions on others to try out?

How about a Kel-Tec P-3AT with the pocket clip?

Personal favorite of mine, works very well just clip it to the top of the boot.

Most inside the pant holsters with the clip will fit the top of your boot. If the handgun doesn't fill the space between your leg and the boot top you may get some sagging in that area. You will need a soft but fairly thick holster if you don't want to develop a sore at the point where the barrel contacts your leg.

Someone needs to make a bellyband type holster for the lower calf that will hold a small pistol for those of us who prefer cowboy boots to sneakers.
