This is a discussion on fist or galco owb easy on within the Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; For my first non-pocket holster to carry my 642 in, I was thinking of either this Fist #2 ( first pick )
or this galco ...
Thanks.
And the Galco is more expensive !
I saw it in the store, and it does look nice. The salesman said it was the most comfortable holster he knows of, due to it being so wide at the connection locations. But I couldn't try it because I didn't ( and still don't ) have a good belt.
I may be wrong, but for the J frame I am not too worried about comfort because it's such a small and light little bugger. But I do want it to have the other important features, such as easy to draw from, rides tight, and secures the gun well.

Just like others have said, I have both FIST and Galco holsters also and FIST would be my choice. I like the Galco holsters that I have a lot also but the FIST are better IMO.
