After hearing all the people that cut theirs I would think that the Supertuck should only be offered in the combat cut. You should always want a full grip on you gun when drawing. My opinion.

If I had to guess they use a clicker die to cut their backs of their holsters out and I would guess they prefer not to have two dies for their holsters so when they make a combat cut they probably just pop it with the normal pattern, then cut it down to combat before finishing the edges.

I'm not affiliated with Crossbread so this is just my guess as to why they do it that way. Also would explain the price increase for the Combat cut because some else has to handle the holster before it's done.

Either way they seem to be really nice holsters for the money.

I highly recommend cutting it. I think it's important to be able to get a good grip on the gun before drawing. That's 90% of presentation IMO.

I used some garden shears and sandpaper. Only took a few minutes and it's totally worth it.

I still have the standard cut. It works just fine. No problem what so ever drawing my weapon. I won't be cutting mine.

I bought mine with the standard cut. After 10 days of daily wear with my XD .45 Service, I decided to cut it down to just a minimum body shield.
    Sorry, I don't have a "before".

Cut it! They make more if you don't like it afterwards.
