    Shoulder Holsters

I currently CC a sig p250 with a iwb, holster is from bladetech... I'm thinking of getting a HK usp to conceal carry, and thinking of investing in a good shoulder holster to cc...

Anyone have any experience using a shoulder holster to cc with?

Galco Miami Classic is a good one. Very Secure and comfortable. I've carried 1911s,Sigs and Glocks in them and they work well.

I'm wearing a G23 in a Galco Miami Classic™ currently as I type this. I bought my first MC about 5 years ago for an H&K USP .45 full size and have been totally committed to them as far as shoulder holsters go. I honestly don't think it's possible to find a better "off the rack" shoulder holster.

Now then, I've not tried every one that's out there, but if you find something that works great, looks good, is comfortable, and makes your gun disappear under just a cover shirt, why buy another brand?

You could do a whole lot worse, but I don't think you could much better.

Over the years, I have tried a few different shoulder options from Bianchi, Galco and Ken Null. Overall, I found more comfort and range of motion with the Galco “Jackass” (haven't tried the Miami Classic™). There are some other custom designs, although essentially, there are three orientations of carry: angled, vertical & horizontal. What works for one, may not work for another. There are so many variables that include: type, size & weight of weapon, activity level, dress code, ergonomics, body-type, etc. Because of this, just make sure you can return it, if you decide it doesn’t work for you. Refrain from trimming or modifying the holster harness until you're certain that you’ll keep it. This has been my mistake, since I may love it on the first day, but not on the second. BTW: Regardless of price or reputation of the maker; the only one that is the best, is the one you like.

+1 on the Galco Miami Classic or the "Jackass" holsters.

Miami classic is what I, and most protective agents I worked with (past life) used. At the time, there was nothing better, and I still like mine just fine as an option to IWB.

I use and like the Miami Classic also.

I also use a Galco Half Harness, similar to the Executive, but this is suitable, IMO, only for smaller, lighter pistols. It is extremely comfortable.

A HK USP is a pretty big gun to try to conceal unless you are a LEO.

got my first shoulder holster in the 80's. the galco jackass rig, then i moved the miami classic. it is one of the best. a good shoulder holster will wear well all day long. a cheap made one will not. in shoulder holsters you get what you pay for.

I have several shoulder holsters. I wear a custom rig similar to the Miami Classic made by Little Feather Leather in Southern Indiana. He is a good leather man and the holster is exactly as I desired.

    I carry a .45 because they don't make a .46
