K Frame (686, etc.) Duty Holsters?

Looking for a level 2 retention preferably in nylon. Any suggestions?

Anybody have any OWB advice in both duty grade plus personal carry for this model and size revolver in general as well as pics?

    Thanks!

If you're going to carry one weapon, might as well carry two, because as the saying goes, "Two is one, and one is none."

The 686 is an L-frame, Safariland makes their SLS holster in "fine-tac" (kydex) for the 4". I'm not aware of any level 2 nylon ones out there, but there are several leather ones still being made.

Here's one from Stallion Leather S100JR Thoroughbred Revolver Holster Stallion Leather

Blackhawk makes a nice leather pancake, I have one for my 646. It's comfortable and hides well, it tucks in tight with a good belt.

Years ago we carried our 686 in a safariland that had a thumb snap that wrapped around the front of the holster ,the front of the holster was split about 1/2 way downand the trigger guard was covered so the gun could only be drawn from the front.I'm sure it was at least a level 2
