Yes I have one for my 27 and it works but I went back to leather. The BH just never felt right to me however dumb that may sound.

yes, the paddle... i use it for idpa as well...

only issue is the gun sticks out alot.. so if you care that others can see it easy, then not the best choice..

I use one for my 27. I like the ability to use it ether for strong side or crossdraw. I mainly use the paddle ( modified for easy removal)

I have one for a 26, conceals ok with heavy winter clothing. Sticks out quite a bit, but is comfortable.

Longtime user of the Blackhaw SERPA paddle I bought from the local Academy sporting goods store for OC/CC. While I liked the holster it always seemed a bit flimsy.

It carried my G27 and G22 just fine, but like a few others have mentioned-it doesn't hold the weapon very close to your body.

I'm proud to say that I'm a new convert to the Safariland ALS 6377. I bought this holster designed for the longer slide found on the full sized Glocks like the G22.

Comparing the SERPA and Safariland side by side-is not fair. The ALS 6377 is heads and tails better in terms of strength, and fit and finish than the SERPA....all in my humble opinion of course.

To make it fit better on my G27 I simply ground down the muzzle end of the holster so that the shell of the holster is roughly 1/8" longer than the end of the barrel/slide.

I still use this to carry both weapons, and even though the OP specifically asked about paddle holsters, this Safariland is a belt holster and is much more secure on your person.

I have one for my 27 with paddle platform, carbon fiber. I like it. Holds the weapon well and much more comfortable than a cheap Fobus. It does stick out a bit so I use it for winter carry when a large sweatshirt or jacket can conceal. It has a great locking system and designed so that there is almost no friction on your gun, thus no marring at all. Holds very stable on your waist.

If it were more concealable, I'd wear it everyday.

    Good luck.

I own a BH serpa for my XD. I find that it is a very comfortable holster, but not a great concealment hoslter. When I am on a trip that requires crossing from CC to OC and back, it is my goto holster.

Used the Serpa untill my Snap Side leather holster for my Glock 27 arrived from Lobo Leather. The leather holds the gun nice and close.
