    Triple K shoulder holster review

I had been trying to make a shoulder holster for my Glock 19 and was not happy with the results so I did a little web research and purchased a Triple K ultra shoulder holster from Cabala’s

    Cabela's -- Triple K Ultra Shoulder Holster

It came in three separate plastic packs, the holster, the magazine holder, and the harness.

The holster and mag holder are about 7oz brown finished leather. The edges are nicely finished in a dark brown, and the interior leather is very tight and smooth. It has white nylon thread that has decent stitching. All of the hardware is brass.

The harness is darker brown suede with brass Chicago screws for adjustment.

It is not a fitted holder; I assume it will fit a variety of similar framed guns. The Glock 19 does fit very well. The thumb break does not go behind the slide, but around the rear of the grip. I was a little skeptical of this at first but actually falls nicely under the thumb when drawing.

I adjusted it to hang at a muzzle up angle a couple of inches under the arm pit and it does not print at all under a coat or heavy outer shirt.
The draw is definitely slower than a belt holster, but not too bad.
I think it is a very nice holster for the price. The custom makers I have seen and some of the better known factory rigs like Galco are nicer, but it was in stock with no wait and about half what most of them cost.

It will not be my everyday carry holster, but should work just fine.

The review prepared by 303british is accurate and right on point in every way. I got my Triple K last August and carry an all steel 1911 in it and have found it to be an outstanding carry holster . Particularly, considering that the price of this holster is about half of what the "big name" holster makers charge. Great quality for a very, very fair price.
