I've been looking high and low for a good shoulder holster and OWB holster for the EMP. However I am coming up dry in both cases. I have found that Galco makes holsters for the EMP but they are not meant for cocked and locked carry. They are designed for hammer down carry which is next to useless on a 1911 style gun. If anyone has any suggestions or places to check please let me know.
PS the OWB holster must have some sort of retention device and be made of leather.

I know he is building shoulder rigs. The EMP is the same dimensions as any of the 3" 1911's. The differences are internal.
Check out Pure Kustom, Leather, and the retention (though not a thumb break) is unmatched. You cannot draw from this holster unless you are wearing it. Read This. This is on how good the retention is on a Pure Kustom. Also my review talks about the retention and the overall quality of the holster. And also, here recently someone with another 3" 1911 asked about the retention. Read about what was written, check out Pure Kustom, you wont be disappointed. Unmatched craftsmanship, beautiful works of art (if thats your thing), versatility, and the best customer service you can find. His thread titled Some new stuff shows some of his work and what others think. But after you are all done, give him a call and see what he can work out for ya!
I have a Lifeline shoulder rig and an IWB holster from Ted Blocker. Both have thumb breaks and are cut for Condition 1/cocked & locked.
