    Just ordered a crossbreed

I just ordered a crossbreed minituck for my 3" Kimber. Lets see how fast they can get it out to me. after talking with fellow CCW friends it sounds like a good option, I also like the fact that they give you two weeks to try it out and a full refund if you don't like it. Anyone here have this rig? Let me know what you think.

    Thanks,

PT140 in a MiniTuck. Great combination.

He started doing that after all the comments on the forum he bought about Comp-Tac sending candy with all orders.
You may now carry on with your absurd non-directional bantering.

I love my Supertuck with the J-clips, and the combat cut. My Sig P220R hides nicely in it.

I think I will end up getting a minituck for my PPK, but I am still a bit concerned about the crossbreed clips. The giant cross looks like it would really stick out, so I'm thinking maybe I will try slapping on some of the comp-tac clips instead.

A better idea might be to get the Kholster steel clips because they are wider than the MTAC clips. The steel clips from Kholster are $9.50 /pair. I personally don't like the skinny plastic MTAC clips.

The crosses are about 1/2" tall and the clips themselves 2-3/16". I have yet to have anyone make comment on them. I find things that are noticeable to us are pretty much invisible to anyone not involved in shooting and carrying. The only time they actually show is if you are wearing a tucked shirt.

If I were going to go to the trouble of fitting Comp-tac clips on the MiniTuck, I'd just get the comp-tac in the first place.

Carried a keltec in a minituck for quite a while. Best holster I have ever used, and I got lifesavers with it :)

Be sure to give it a chance to break in and form to your body before you make up your mind.

I use a supertuck with an sp101 now and love it.

I have been carrying my P239 in a horsehide Supertuck for a couple weeks now, and I can't believe how comfortable it is. I carry at about 4:30, and was concerned that the hard, form-fitting Recaro seats in my car would be an issue. As it turns out, I can "feel" something's back there if I think about it while driving, but it's not an issue. I also bought a Crossbreed belt 1 1/2 inch belt at the same time, and I'm sure that helps with the comfort.
