Fobus magazine & flashlight paddle carrier

Does anyone have one of these they can post pictures of actually using it?

From the stock photo it is hard to get an idea of the size. I like the idea but don't want some huge brick hanging off my pants. I like paddle holsters and accessories that pull in tight to the body and don't print of course.

I don't have a picture of it but I did try one on at the gunstore. I liked it but did enouncter one issue. I use my flash light a lot and found it hard to get my flash light out without exposing the mag. This could be awkard in some situations.

Good point and thanks for the input.

I have one and my only complaint is that I wish it rode a little higher.

Try to get a pic tomorrow for ya'!

Well it's little past "tomorrow" but here's 2 pics.

Like I said, rides a bit too low for my daily carry. However it does stay close to the body and is not too bulky for what it is.

You're right that it rides really low. Looks like it is still an option for me though since I wear a lot of button up shirts untucked and buy them really long on purpose.

I keep saying I'm going to drill 1 or 2 of these rivets out and see if I can raise it, plus put a little forward cant to it. I just hate to hack it up if it doesn't work.

I mean I know they don't cost all that much, but still don't like throwing $$ down the drain.

    Good luck!!

I know exactly what you mean. I normally don't buy paddle attachments because they normally ride at the top of your belt because of the paddle. You could always drill out the rivets and add a belt attachment. That way you could wear it as high as you want.

I am currently looking for a horizontal mag & light pouch.

They can and probably will be seperate, but if the magazine pouch rides horizontal, it will blend in with your belt and will not "stab" you in your side or stomach when sitting or driving.

Just google horizontal magazone pouch or carrier and the same for flashlights. Flashlights are harder and may just fit in a generic pouch/carrier.

    Just another option to consider.

High Noon "Slide Guard" Holster - Leather (OWB)
BladeTech "Eclipse" Holster - Kydex (OWB)
Aker Reinforced Gun Belt (Leather & Polymer)
    Wilderness Tactical/Operator Belt (Kydex Reinforced)

I had tried that route, but kept getting the thing caught on stuff on brush-by's. Eventually ripped it off my belt getting in the car one time.

    Haven't carried horizontal since!
