    New 1911 custom holster

Well here it is, I just recently purchased it new and now I am about to send it off to get some custom work on it. It is in a holster that I had made from a guy here in TN. It is a very nice holster that is very very affordable.

His turn around time was within a week. I have owned many high dollar holsters, but this is a high quality holster for under 60.00 dollars.

    What do you guys think?

I like it. Of course, I'm partial to stamping on holsters, whether it's a basket stamp or just a border. Very nice.

What custom work do you do to a holster once it's made, dyed, and sealed?

The holster is pretty and I'd like one just like it. Meanwhile, I'm studying the gun and wondering about that very vestigial-looking beavertail (the beaver must be named Twiggy), and also why the gun is not in Condition One!

Ha Ha, very funny with the twiggy line. But youre right, I am in the process of gettint some custom work on it and yes the beavertail grip safety is on the list of things getting modified.

As for condition 1, I had been cleaning it and just holsterd it to take a pic.
