The closest that I know is Front Sight in Pahrump right out side of Las Vegas. I've heard both good and bad. Never been so I can't say anything from anfirst hand experience.
I would point you towards the Utah Polite Society. They hold monthly self-defense events with drills and scenarios, as well as host classes for travelling trainers. In the past they've hosted Gabe Suarez and some folks from Gunsite. This year they're playing host to quite a few classes taught by Suarez International Staff Instructors Doug Little and Roger Phillips (Roger's Point Shooting Progressions and Advanced Point Shooting Progressions classes are coming up next month). During the summer months, they also host new shooter classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings the second and fourth weekends of each month.
In addition to the Polite Society folks, there are some other opportunities for training in Utah. John Farnam is out there about once a year, for instance.
I am looking to go spend some time with my brother. I will look into the Utah Polite Society. Thank you.
