    Bushido Tactical

Has anyone ever trained at Bushido Tactical? I'm looking to get some training to improve my shooting. Do they have rental firearms for the courses? I don't have a gun yet and I want to concentrate my money and time on getting the skills before I worry about buying the tool. Sig Academy has pistols for rent, but they are all the way in NH.

    George "Bush"

Sometimes my jokes are little lame. Oh well, I have a day job.

I've taken pistol and carbine courses with Bushido Tactical and you can read my brief AAR of Wade's Level 2 carbine class here - AAR: Bushido Tactical Defensive Rifle/Carbine 2, October 10 & 11, 2009 in Sarasota, Florida - AR15.COM as well as an AAR of his Level 1 carbine class written by a buddy of mine here - Quick AAR: Bushido Tactical Rifle Level 1 - AR15.COM. Wade's a good instructor and you'll certainly learn a lot from him. He doesn't have rentals, but if you ask nicely, he might just loan you one of his personal weapons for the class. You'll probably have to supply your own ammo though!

With all due respect, there is alot more to learn than how to pull the trigger. I think that if you ask any of the military and LEO here, they will tell you that they could disassemble and reassemble their weapons blindfolded before they ever fired a shot. I would strongly recommend that you raise your firearm purchase priority as a major part of training is handling, and being familiar with, a firearm, even an unloaded one.
